And it’s important that we have the ability to find out about those wines that stand up to the best Burgundy have to offer as well . Natural wines are going to end up having to be judged against every wine

Hello! Your residential course in Slovenia sounds absolutely wonderful... but I'm already scheduled to be in Bordeaux then (there are worse clashes in life!). Let me know how it goes and if you plan to do another one. Even though I've been writing for 20 years, I love the idea of a writers' retreat type thing. Happy New Year!

Thank you Vicky. The dates are not 100% set in stone yet, but if it's successful I would definitely repeat it.

I feel the same way as you. I have been writing professionally for 13+ years but I think it's always good to take time to improve and hone one's craft.

So in some ways I am now creating the course I always wanted.

Regarding Burgundy , I think under £50 is fine , I like reading about and trying top end natural wines as well as more affordable ones

Normally I would say that €50 / £50 is a high price, but Burgundy is nuts. With Cossard etc, entry level is around €30...
