There’s a wonderful mineral and salty lift to this wine, which does go in a very vegetal direction on the finish (I’m starting to wonder if that’s a characteristic of the 2018 vintage). But it’s so much fun on the attack, with broad, spiced honey and chalky texture. It’s Grüner with loads of energy and character, and fruit too.
