I expect great things from Bründlmayer in this vineyard, and they’ve really delivered. The nose is utterly entrancing, with an aromatic note that suggests rose petals or turkish delight.
Perfectly ripe, but sensationally fresh red grapefruit and passion fruit power the palate, which finishes long and citrussy.
This is a delicate creature which would be easy to miss, but it’s so beautifully restrained and nuanced.
