A super spicy, ripe Riesling which has a wonderful interplay between its racy citrus acidity, and the spiced honey and candied fruit notes. Martin Diwald says this is one of the ripest years he’s ever made – at 13% alcohol – and there is the feeling of ripeness, even a little sugar, on the finish. But it’s beautifuly balanced. An exciting and characterful wine which stays very true to the varietal and shows off the terroir too.
