More blackcurranty than BF’s usual black cherry note, this wine delivers a sucker punch to the head due to the alcohol, but nonetheless has rather pretty fruit and no shortage of freshness. The terroir speaks, with a chalky, open texture and nice lactic note. It’s a good effort, but I wouldn’t want to drink more than half a glass, so no top marks here.
