This really demonstrates the mission of Alwin Jurtstisch and Martin Arndorfer – that their Pet-nats deserve to be aged.
This feels far more substantial, crisper but also more complex and autolytic than their just released 2020 Pet nats.
There are loads of crushed herb and undergrowth notes, and some spicy, peppery character too – the Gruner seems to shine through quite easily.
Very dry and austere on the finish.
