Compared to “Der Löss”, from the same vineyard but a slightly lesser ripeness, this is much more peppery and honeyed – but also with a nice interplay between saltiness and the alcohols. Big but well handled – and not really any need to wait. In fact, given the lowish acidity, waiting might not be so smart.
