Despite this parcel being on clay soils (unusual in Eisenberg), there is nothing heavy about this wine, which has pin-sharp acids and crunchy cranberry fruit. There’s a pleasing herbal or animal hint, a little reminiscent of Cabernet Franc. A balanced and attractive wine. (barrel sample)
