Very expressive and harmonious, with some toasty oak notes neatly integrated into the nose. The texture is creamy and the tannins are very well managed – oak has played a part, but it’s been done with the utmost discretion. The fruit is wonderfully typical, with blackcurrant and sour cherry. Refreshing and very characterful.
