Juicy redcurrant and cherry fruit that really shows the expressive character of Szapary’s soils, this wine has lovely sour acids (which are BF’s calling card) but a pleasing rusticity – or gaminess, perhaps. The tannins are fine and delicate, freshness and drinkability rate very highly here (barrel sample)
