A broad and spicy Sauvignon, that I’d guess has probably been allowed to undergo its second (malolactic) fermentiion – meaning it has a very different character than most of its stable mates. Some sweaty or slightly grassy Sauvignon notes appear on the nose, then on the palate the wine heads in a rich and almost buttery direction, with ripe, spiced citrus. For me the wine lacks a little lift, however it delivers in the length and depth department for sure.
