Quite fascinating to taste this 2017, which seems to hark back to a slightly more obvious winemaking style at this estate – not that it’s any bad thing in this case.
The fruit character has a very obvious and quite primary Sauvignon character, with slightly stinky lifted thiol notes. It’s ripe and expressive, packed with exotic fruit notes and pleasing tartness on the finish. And that finish is long!
