A wonderful perfume of black cherries and kirsch liqueur sets you up on the nose of this wine. Typically for Markus’ style, the palate is quite lean and wiry, but with a great kick of BF sour cherry.
The tannins are a little rustic and woody at the moment. I love the direction this wine is headed in, but it needs more time to get there. (2-3 years)
