Attractively spicy fruit, with silken blackcurrant and blackberry palate, and a finish that just glides on for many seconds. Lovely fruit acids and a perfect level of ripeness – not too much, not too little. Very nice expression, also quite distinct from the Blaufränkisch of Leithaberg or Eisenberg – showing a Carnuntum character.
