Beautifully creamy texture, very harmonious, with honeyed fruit and impressive youthfulness. The maturation is subtle and just lends harmony. Citrus, pear and yellow plum fruit with very subtle herbal notes. This is in a good place right now. The Sauvignon lends subtle aromatics and freshness to the blend, but the body and the texture feels very typically Chardonnayesque.
It has to be said that this is an overtly oak-influenced style of wine. Very well made, but may not be for everyone.
