Nice fruit purity on display here, with ripe red cherries and a lovely belt of sour acids that lifts and refreshes the palate. Well rounded, with soft but subtly crunchy tannins underpinning the wine. A nice effort, and far superior to Nehrer’s disappointing Ried Poschen from the same year.
