Earthy, and raisined on the nose, this is a super macerated, tannic style of Riesling that is quite a lot of fun – but impossible to recognise the variety, and way too young at the moment.
There is a nice acidic kick upfront, but then things get pretty murky and animalistic. And super tannic.
I am not wholly convinced about the stability here either! But let’s agree to reconvene in a year and see we feel shall we?
