Fresh tarragon and a whiff of sawdust on the nose. Oak fermented, but the oak influence is not over the top (even if I consider it unwelcome). Piercing acids which lack harmony, tight and lemony, but with a bit of support from the oak – which adds some creaminess to the texture.
Feels like it needs time for the wood to better integrate. The acidity feels out of balance, the wine lacks harmony right now.
