One of the great Leithaberg vineyards (as demonstrated superbly by producers like Ernst Triebaumer). Here, there is too much extraction and wood for the wine to have emerged – so far, at least. Nonetheless, black cherrys, kirsch liquor and great acidity are all present and correct. The texture is, though, more redolent of wood than grape.
