One of the great joys of Sattlerhof is how well their wines age. Bearing that in mind, this 2007 is a relative disappointment as it seems very significantly evolved on the nose, with bruised fruits and oxidative touches. That said, the palate is still really fresh, with some spicy citrus notes and a bit of butterscotch.
If one disregards the aromas, there is still a great deal of drinking pleasure here, and a supremely fresh and lively style.
