What impresses me with this stellar wine is the concentration and body, with a ripe and generous undertow of ripe citrus and juicy passion fruit. Yet this is all wrapped up in a very elegant style, with tight and spicy acids lifting the palate and sustaining and incredibly long finish that unfolds into a candied note right at the end.
With two years of age, this wine is just getting going. Give it another 2-3 years to lose a little babyfat and it could be quite divine.
