A slightly baked fruit character on the nose here, and the high alcohol does make itself known. Sour red cherry fruit dominates the palate, with thirst quenching acids and pretty crunchy tannins. Lots of excitement, but lacking elegance and a bit of a knockout. (barrel sample)
