Cassis and herb scented, this big, ripe style has a roasted character but also doesn’t skimp on the freshness. It’s pretty balanced given its very prodigious alcohols.
The structure is firm and quite tannic, with a nutty note on the finish.
A well made wine, but I’d wish for a little less alcohol and less ripeness.
