A slightly bruised fruit or reductive character did not excite me on the nose of this wine. And on the palate it feels a little muted or closed.
You can feel that this wine has a serious intention. It has a nutty, sculpted feel to the palate, and a tight, mineral finish.
I suspect this needs way more time to show itself. Right now it’s not a whole lot of fun, but give it 2-3 years and let’s see what happens.
