Typically lithe and elegant as I expect from Thom, with that gorgeous cassis perfume that he seems to coax from his Eisenberg BF. Here, there is cranberry and sour cherry fruit that just explodes with energy and fruit acids. The tannins are fine and crystalline. The wine feels lean yet also supple, with a long and exciting salty finish. Outstanding. This will surely only improve after a year or two in bottle. (barrel sample)
