An exciting wine from a producer that seems to make quality strides on a regular basis. Baked bread and cinnamon dominate the nose right now – a bit too much new oak for my tastes, but the palate is a different story. It’s lithe and mineral, with a subtle chewiness and note of dried apricots. An exciting expression of Neuburger which needs a little time for the oak to blow away.
