Although there’s a swathe of toasty oak on the nose, this wine shows loads of fruit and freshness and is filled with cherry, asian spices and a bit of woodsmoke.
Made in a rather classic and somewhat Bordeaux-esque style, I cannot fault the winemaking here, or the restraint in terms of ripeness. It’s a very balanced wine and a pretty accessible style.
