Blackcurrant and cream aromas lead into an open and expressive palate that shows the elegance of its schisty terroir. The wine feels a little constrained, perhaps by excessive use of sulphites of filtration, but nonetheless manages to express some terroir. What is missing is the twang of BF’s sour cherry goodness.
